Note: *June 30th-July 4th camp week shortened to July 2nd-July 4th. Price reduced to $135+hst for members, $150+hst for non members*
Program Overview
Our Summer Camp Tennis Program offers an exciting and engaging experience for beginner to intermediate tennis players. Designed for kids (ages 5-13), this program combines skill development, and tons of fun in a friendly, social environment. Campers are divided by age to ensure they receive appropriate instruction and enjoy playing with their peers. Whether your child is looking to try tennis for the first time or improve their game over the summer, this camp provides the perfect opportunity to learn, grow, and enjoy the sport in a dynamic, action-packed setting.
Equipment (5-7 yrs): Red tennis balls (larger, 75% softer and slower than regular balls), smaller nets, smaller courts. Students must bring their own racquets, size 17 & 19 recommended.

Equipment (7-9 yrs): Orange tennis balls (50% softer and slower than regular balls), smaller court. Students must bring their own racquets, size 21 & 23 recommended.

Equipment (9-13 yrs): Green tennis balls (25% softer and slower then regular balls), full sized court. Students must bring their own racquets, size 25 & 26 recommended.
Schedule
  • Session 1 (12:00pm - 1:00pm)
    Attendance, warm up, tennis drills, skill development.
  • Lunch Break (1:00pm - 1:30pm)
    A supervised break where campers can relax, socialize, play games in the park beside the courts, and enjoy their packed lunch.
  • Session 2 (1:30pm - 3:00pm)
    Continuation of tennis drills and skill development, followed by fun tennis-related games to reinforce practiced skills and keep players engaged.

  • Skill Development: Tailored lessons focusing on key tennis techniques like forehands, backhands, volleys, and serves, helping players improve at their own pace.
  • Team Building and Sportsmanship: Encouraging campers to work together, build friendships, and develop teamwork skills through group drills and friendly competitions.
  • Games and Activities: Interactive tennis-related games, challenges, and activities designed to keep campers engaged, motivated, and excited throughout the camp.
Program Goals
  • Skill Enhancement: Help players develop essential tennis skills in a fun and supportive environment, building their confidence and technique throughout the week.
  • Social Interaction: Provide an opportunity for campers to interact, make new friends, and build teamwork skills while enjoying tennis.
  • Enjoyment of the Sport: Foster a love for tennis by making it fun, accessible, and rewarding for players of all skill levels.
  • Life Skills: Teach important values such as sportsmanship, resilience, and leadership both on and off the court.
Lunch Information
Campers will be given a 30 minute supervised lunch break where they can relax and enjoy their packed lunch in either the air conditioned clubhouse or designated outdoor areas. This break provides a much-needed rest, and break from midday summer sun, allowing campers to recharge and socialize before heading into the second session.

Our Summer Camp Tennis Program with Lunch Break is the perfect way for kids to stay active, make friends, and develop their tennis skills over the summer. With expert coaching, a variety of fun activities, and a balanced schedule, campers will have a memorable experience while improving their game and enjoying the summer sun! Many campers discover a true passion for tennis and go on to join other junior programs at the club, continuing their journey in the sport.
